Alberto Cendoya is appointed as Co-head of Architecture and Technology at the Norman Foster Foundation

Alberto Cendoya, former ‘BYD Mobility Innovation Fellow’ within the Architecture and Technology Unit at the Norman Foster Foundation (NFF), is now appointed as Co-head of Architecture and Technology.
Cendoya holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Architecture from the Universidad de Navarra. He has been involved in projects such as the design of future monorail transport infrastructure with BYD, cultural projects in Venice and Château La Coste, conceptualising a nuclear battery with the MIT, and post-war masterplans for Ukraine. Prior to joining the foundation, Cendoya worked in the International Development sector as a researcher, with a special focus on African urban development. He also has work experience in the Silicon Valley startup sector, in Columbia University and in the Lima 2035 Urban Development plan.
