Taba Rasti
For this episode of our 'Inside the Archive' series, we meet Taba Rasti, Senior Partner and co-directs the Foster + Partners office in Madrid.
Taba Rasti started to work for Foster + Partners London back in 2005. Short after that, Norman Foster decided to open an office in Madrid and, in 2010, he offered Taba and his colleague Pablo Urango to be the directors of that office. Since then, they’ve worked together in multiple projects, such as the Prado extension competition (which they won), or the Château Margoux in Bordeaux.
Taba Rasti is Senior Partner and co-directs the Foster + Partners office in Madrid. She completed her studies at the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM) in 2003. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked in Spain and other parts of the world on a variety of projects and scales, ranging from cultural buildings to workplaces. Her particular speciality is the regeneration of historic buildings to give them a sustainable future.
