From July 2020 the architect, Irene Martín, will serve as ‘Ford Foundation Research Fellow’ within the Education and Research Units at the Norman Foster Foundation (NFF).

The Ford Foundation supports a Research Fellow to work as a member of the NFF team since 2018 to date. This Ford Foundation Fellowship is focused on research, planning, design, development as well as  on the publications of NFF projects that have a social impact.

We are grateful to the Ford Foundation for its continuous support. The Ford Foundation has been sponsoring in the last years Fellowships within the NFF Architecture and Technology Unit to work on innovative studies  in India and Mexico. The 2020 Ford Foundation Research Fellowship is focused mainly on the publications of these NFF ‘s study projects realised since 2018 to date, as well as the ones resulting from the seminars and workshops celebrated at the NFF in the last three years and related to the mission of the Ford Foundation and the NFF.
