The Norman Foster Foundation partnered with Bloomberg Philanthropies to celebrate the Norman Foster Institute’s Programme on Sustainable Cities launch—a year long residential Master’s degree.

Today, Norman Foster, elected Advocate of the United Nations’ Forum of Mayors, participated in an event with Bloomberg Media’s Francine Lacqua during the COP28 in Dubai, to present the Norman Foster Institute’s programme on Sustainable Cities.

Based in Madrid, where the Norman Foster Foundation has been located since its creation in 2017, the Norman Foster Institute’s programme is aimed at ‘those seeking a holistic approach to the future design and management of cities – the civic leaders of the future’. The first course will be focused on neighbourhoods in three pilot cities and combine classroom-based teaching with on-site experience with city planners and administrators.
