Save the Date 24 September | Norman Foster Foundation Sustainability Public Debates

The fourth edition of the Norman Foster Foundation’s Public Debates on Sustainability, taking place on Tuesday 24 September 2024 in partnership with Rolex, will spotlight five exemplary cases of success in sustainable urban development. These debates aim to inspire and educate by showcasing how forward-thinking planning and design can lead to lasting, positive impacts on our cities, fostering a more resilient and sustainable future.
The Public Debates will be moderated by Luis Bettencourt, Professor of Ecology, Evolution and Sociology, University of Chicago, Illinois, United States.
With a five-minute keynote and debate between the following experts:

Nirmal Kishnani, Co-Programme Director, Programme Director of the Master of Science, Integrated Sustainable Design, School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore

Maria Vassilakou, Founder, Vienna Solutions; Former Vice Mayor, Vienna, Austria
The Public Debates are free and open to the public, with a limited capacity, after registering via Eventbrite. Access is granted on a first-come basis. Please note that registration does not guarantee entry once full capacity has been reached. The public debate will be held in English without translation.
